The cover of this writing pad is made out of 100% recycled paper which has been embellished with orange flower and plant inclusions. Hand bound with strings on spine. The paper inside is a pleasant neutral beige with various amounts and colours of paper flecks and the occasional plant material. 50 pages of unlined 90gsm-120gsm (61lbs-81lbs)  hand made drawing paper make up each hand sewn single signature book. The paper accepts a variety of dry media and some light wet media. The covers are lightweight for travel, yet sturdy enough to protect the inner pages.
 
Each notebook measures 5.25W" x 8"H (13cm x 20cm) closed, 0.5" (1.3cm) thick at the spine. As this product is entirely hand made, there could be a variation in measurements by +/- 15%.
